Anchor 1

On campus, I was able to attend various events and discussions regarding different cultures, current events, and global issues. These extra curricular activities that I participated in allowed me the opportunities to engage with my peers and broaden my perspectives.

Out of the many courses I took to obtain my Bachelors Degree, four of them were designed as Global Learning courses to teach students how to interact and understand the global community. 

These are the classes that helped me become a global citizen. 

Participating in the study abroad program to the Bahamas might have been short but the affects were life changing. For one week I disconnected from my mundane lifestyle and reconnected with myself and nature in the beautiful Sivannada Yoga Ashram in Paradise Island.

After taking multiple course in Religious Studies and Philosophy, I took my ever growing passion to reduce environmental harm to fuel me to research and examine the influence that religion has on the way its has influence the environmental ethics in the West and in the East.
